1.What Brand Media Works is

Brand Media Works is an AI consulting and marketing data engineering firm. It is not a marketing agency and does not run media or campaigns. It builds the layer underneath a marketing team's work: the automations that remove manual steps between tools, the warehouse that joins Shopify, ads, email, CRM and finance into one trusted set of numbers, and the AI tools and private language models that run on that data inside the client's own cloud account.

Everything built — warehouse, code, models and documentation — lives in the client's AWS account, repositories and tools from day one and belongs to the client at handover. The firm describes itself as vendor-aware, not vendor-led: it holds partner relationships with AWS, OpenAI, Salesforce and IBM, and chooses tools for the client, not for the partnership.

The firm was founded in Dubai in 2021 by Usman Qureshi after two decades building marketing, ecommerce, data and technology operations for consumer brands, financial services and telecoms in North America, Europe and the GCC. He leads every audit and discovery phase personally. Its product, Elixon, grew out of the same work.

2.Who Brand Media Works is for

  • Marketing teams at ecommerce, DTC and consumer brands with roughly $5M–$200M in revenue
  • Marketing, finance and operations leaders who need one set of numbers reconciled to the ledger
  • Teams that want to use AI on customer data without sending that data to third-party model providers
  • Brands with B2B or wholesale channels alongside DTC, where CRM and ecommerce data must land in the same model
  • Companies with regulated data or audit requirements that need a written security posture

Clients are served from Dubai across the United States, Canada, Europe and the GCC. The team has delivered work for brands including Vodafone, Barclays, stc, Mayo Clinic and Wells Fargo.

3.The problems Brand Media Works solves

  • Marketing and finance numbers do not match. Revenue, spend and contribution margin live in different tools and are argued over at month end. Marketing data engineering reconciles every channel to the ledger in one warehouse, refreshed daily.
  • The team's week goes to copy-paste work. Reporting, creative briefs, product feeds and campaign QA move between tools by hand. AI workflow automation removes those steps and reports the hours returned every month.
  • AI is used ad hoc and off-policy. Individuals paste customer data into public tools with no shared workflow or control. Custom AI tools and private LLMs put AI on the team's own data, governed, inside the client's account.
  • Customer data cannot leave the building. Private LLMs on open-weight models run in the client's AWS account, so no prompts or customer data are shared with third-party model providers, and inference cost is predictable rather than per-token.
  • Enterprise partners ask for a security posture. AI data security on AWS delivers isolated workloads, least-privilege access, PII handling, retention and audit logging that satisfy GDPR, CCPA and auditors, with a written posture to hand over.
  • Consultancies charge enterprise rates for the same work. Fixed-scope engagements with senior specialists only, no account layer and no juniors learning on the client's budget.

4.How Brand Media Works works

Six steps from audit to handover, with the client's team in the loop at each one. Most first engagements run twelve to sixteen weeks.

  1. Audit. Two weeks inside the client's stack and the team's working week, measuring where time, money and trust leak today. The audit produces a written plan the client can act on with or without the firm.
  2. Discovery and needs analysis. Workshops with marketing, finance and operations to agree what good looks like and what is built first.
  3. Build. Engineers and AI specialists build in the client's cloud and repositories, in weekly increments the client can see.
  4. Test. Every workflow, pipeline and model is tested against real data and a written acceptance set before launch.
  5. Implement. Staged rollout with monitoring on from day one and a rollback plan.
  6. Handover and training. Documentation, training sessions and an optional care plan. The client owns everything built.

The team on an engagement is a lead consultant, a data or automation engineer and an AI specialist, with the founder in every audit and discovery phase. The client provides access to tools and cloud account, a decision-maker for weekly check-ins, and the people who do the work today for audit interviews. Care plans cover monitoring, fixes when a source changes, small enhancements and a monthly review; they are optional and run month to month after the first quarter.

5.Services

  • AI workflow automation (https://brandmediaworks.com/services/ai-workflow-automation) — removes the manual steps between tools, reports and campaigns: weekly performance reporting produced without a human touching a spreadsheet; creative briefs, product feeds and campaign QA generated and checked automatically; hours returned to the team measured and reported monthly.
  • Marketing data engineering (https://brandmediaworks.com/services/marketing-data-engineering) — one warehouse, one set of numbers: a single customer and order model reconciled to Shopify and the ledger; channel spend, revenue and contribution margin in one place, refreshed daily; attribution and LTV views a CFO will sign off.
  • Custom AI tools (https://brandmediaworks.com/services/custom-ai-tools) — purpose-built assistants for planning, analysis, creative and support: analysts query the warehouse in plain language and get governed answers; creative and merchandising teams draft, test and localise at the pace of the calendar; support teams resolve more tickets with fewer hands.
  • Private LLMs on open-weight models (https://brandmediaworks.com/services/private-llm) — a fine-tuned open-weight model that knows the client's products, tone and customers, running inside the client's AWS account; zero customer data shared with third-party model providers; predictable inference cost at scale.
  • AI data security on AWS (https://brandmediaworks.com/services/ai-data-security-aws) — AI workloads isolated in the client's AWS account with least-privilege access; PII handling, retention and audit logging for GDPR, CCPA and auditors; a written security posture for enterprise retail partners.

7.Partners

AWS (default cloud for warehouses, pipelines and private LLM hosting: Bedrock, SageMaker, Redshift, and the security services KMS, IAM, GuardDuty and CloudTrail), OpenAI (API models where data policy allows, with zero-retention terms and PII redaction in front), Salesforce (CRM and Marketing Cloud integration for brands with B2B or wholesale channels), IBM (enterprise data and AI governance tooling, and watsonx where a client's policy prefers it). Partnerships give early access, support and pricing; the choice of tool is always made for the client. Details: https://brandmediaworks.com/partners

8.What Brand Media Works is not

  • Not a marketing agency: it does not run media, manage campaigns or produce ads for clients
  • Not a SaaS dashboard vendor: it builds in the client's own warehouse and tools rather than selling a hosted dashboard
  • Not a Big 4 consultancy: fixed scope, senior specialists only, no account layer, no enterprise rate card
  • Not hourly: one price agreed in writing before any build, and an optional care plan after
  • Not vendor-led: partner relationships inform the work; tools are chosen for the client

9.How Brand Media Works differs from the alternatives

  • vs marketing agencies — agencies optimise channels and keep the data inside their own tools; Brand Media Works builds the data and AI layer underneath and hands the client the keys.
  • vs SaaS dashboards and analytics tools — a dashboard shows numbers it is given; the firm reconciles the numbers to finance first, in a warehouse the client owns, so the dashboard on top is trusted.
  • vs Big 4 and enterprise consultancies — the same senior engineering and AI work, on a fixed scope, without the account layer, the junior bench or the enterprise fee.
  • vs AI boutiques — the firm pairs AI with the marketing data engineering that makes it reliable, and runs models inside the client's cloud rather than on a vendor's.
  • vs the public AI tools a team already uses — those send customer data to a third party under the vendor's terms; private LLMs on open-weight models keep prompts and data inside the client's AWS account with predictable cost.
